That's like asking if a BMW is "worth the money." If you've got it, you want to spend it, and you want the quality, then yes. If you think they sound great, then yes. It's really a personal judgment call.

I have a B&W center channel and I love it. I would definitely buy B&W in the future.

B&W is a quality brand, but as to whether or not they're worth the money, you need to make that decision. You need to take them home and sample them in your own listening environment. This is the only true way to get an impression of speakers. Try out some other speakers, and you might find that the cheaper ones sound better in your room. I can't stress enough how important room acoustics are in affecting the sound of speakers. Continuing on that sentiment, speakers are by and far the most important factor in the sound quality of your system. Much more important than your reciever, cd player, dvd player, etc. So by that token, if they sound good, you can justify spending the extra money there.

First off, I have a B&W speaker system (303's in the front and rear, LCR 3 for center), so yes I thought they were worth it.
The question is for you: compared to what?
I got my speakers for about the same price as the crap you can get at BB thru the local home theater store. 303's were about $270 a pair, center was around $250 (numbers might be a bit off, its been nearly 2 years). Granted, these are their low end speakers.

They are great speakers, but you can get speakers that perform just as well (if not better) for cheaper if you take the time to look and listen...

I love the sound of B&W, but I've found that Warfedale produces about 90% the same quality of sound(not that you can really measure it that way, but still) for about 50% of the price.

Do they usually let you try them out like that?

A proper home theater store (read: not BB, or CC) will let you demo equipment for 24 hours or so.

The only B&W speakers I heard that I liked were the 803s.

No.
They are not worth the money.
Paradigm and Legacy probably are, however.

It's about personal judgement
I have a pair Polk RT1000I as the front , CSI40 as the center channel, and a pair of FLX30 as rear. And I love them, they're great
