Born in Fort Worth, Texas, on August: 31, 1976, ha attended Cleburne High School and Southwestern University. A member of Kappa Alpha Order, Xi Chapter, Ben served his order and chapter with duty and honor.

He was continuing his professional music career and education at The Drummer's Collective in New York at the time of his death. A member of St. Mark United Methodist Church, Ben will be remembered by all for his faith, kindness, enthusiasm and dedication to his art. He is survived by his parents, Cherryl and Bill Gilker of Cleburne; one grandmother, 'Lois Rushhig of Dallas; three aunts; an uncle, and five cousins. Randolph James Gronle Randolph James Gronle, age 73, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 21, 2003. A loving son, husband, father, grandfather, and friend, he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. She was born to Euell and Ruby Ola Nance Turner on February 3, 1942. She surrounded herself with her family, especially her grandchildren. Over her life, she devoted herself to being involved with what her children and grand-children were doing, including girl scouts, boy scouts, school activities, and being youth leader at the SPJST. She was always a on the go for the next activity. She will be extremely missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Jo Turner, sister-in-law; Marvin Market, brother-in-law; Alan Ging, nephew. She was a member of the National Education Association. Ann was preceded in death by her parents Elizabeth Stout and Horton Tipton.

Although she joined us for only a short time, she brought tremendous peace and joy, and her jubilant spirit continues to thrive. Mildred Doris Barclay Ballard Nov. 13, 1924 Jan. 15, 2003 Mildred Ballard, better known as Doris, passed on January 15, 2003. Doris was born in Joyce, LA. to Gertrude and Frank Barclay.

She is survived by her five children, Andrew Andersen III, Cynthia Barclay, Andrea Andersen, Bernard Andersen, Barbara Andersen; and grandson, Michael Camacho. Doris married Andrew Andersen Jr. and traveled the world with him during his 25 years of service in the U.S. Army. Doris worked for the Veterans Administration Hospital in Houston, Texas, for many years where she formed life long friendships.

In 1994, she moved to Austin, Texas. Doris leaves behind many friends across the U.S. The family requests in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to Hospice Austin and Christopher House who made her last days comfortable and provided a beautiful environment for her. We thank them tremendously. A private ceremony will be held at Greenwood Cemetery in Shreveport, LA, at her family's cemetery plot at a future date.

Robert F. Amundsen Robert F. Amundsen 48, a longtime Dallas resident currently living in Raleigh, North Carolina, passed away after an extended illness on January 22,2003, at Duke University Medical Center in Durham. Robert Jr. was born to Robert F.

Amundsen Sr. and Marjorie Jane Amundsen on January 25, 1954, in Dallas. Known by many friends and family members as Bobby, Robert Jr. was a top-flite athlete from earliest boyhood. As a senior at St.

Mark's School of Texas in Dallas in 1972, Robert was captain of the varsity football, basketball and tennis teams. Robert Jr. formed the first Young Life group on the St. Mark's campus, and was active in Highland Park Presbyterian Church before leaving Dallas. At Dartmouth College, where he received a bachelor's degree in government in 1976, he was a starting quarterback on the freshman football team.

While at Dartmouth he and his roommate Steve Fiedorek, St. Mark's '73, traveled to other Ivy League schools establishing Bible study groups. While attending Dartmouth, Robert Jr. met Mary Spruill of Dallas, who was then in the first Dartmouth freshman class to admit young women. Mary had graduated at The Hockaday School in 1973.

Upon graduation from Dartmouth, Robert and Mary married at Highland Park Presbyterian Church, then attended the University of Texas at Austin, where they earned master's degrees in business administration in 1979. Robert Jr. enjoyed a fulfilling career as a financial executive in the' industry. From 2000 to the period shortly before his passing, he was senior vice president, chief financial officer and member of the executive committee Triangle Pharmaceutical Company of Durham. Robert Jr.

was a founder of Covance Biotechnology Services of Research Triangle Park in Durham, and served as its chief financial officer from 1993 to 2000. Prior to this, from 1986 to 1993, he served as chief financial officer of a $96 million Austin start-up corporation, Pharmaco Dynamics Research, and its parent, Applied Bioscience of Arlington, Virginia. He was also affiliated with Sensus Drug Development of Austin. During his period in' Austin, while working as a full-time executive, Robert Jr. also led Sunday morning services at a popular local church.

Robert Jr. was preceded in death by his mother, Marjorie Jane Amundsen of Dallas. Robert Jr. leaves behind his wife of 25 years, Mary Spruill Amundsen; and two loving daughters, Jennifer Rebecca, 18, and Katie Elizabeth, 15- the light of his life. Jennifer is a high senior preparing for college, and Katie is a high school freshman.

Robert Jr. is also survived by his father, Robert F. Amundsen Sr. of Dallas; his sister, Dr. Adrienne Amundsen Coffee of San Rafael, California; two nephews, Ben and Luke Coffee of San Rafael; and his brother, Paul William Amundsen of Dallas.

Robert Jr. served on the board of directors of the Raleigh Pregnancy Life Care Center and The Salvation Army of Durham. Memorials may be made to either organization in his name. Services will be held at Peace Presbyterian Church in Cary, North Carolina. Following this, a service will be held in Wynne Chapel at Highland Park Presbyterian Church in Dallas on Saturday, January 25 at 3:00 p.m.

"We Love You Two" Glen Rumfield "The Kid" Walter Stiglitz, III Glen was born on February 19, "Jersey" 1955, went to visit his brother, momma, and daddy with his best friend, Jersey was born October 5, 1956, rode with his best friend, Glen, until the end, Saturday, January 18, 2003. Michelle Wilkes Michelle Wilkes, 40, of Austin passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2003. Michelle is survived by her mother, Dianne Huddleston; father, Warren Wilkes; brother, William Huddleston; paternal grandmother, Phyllis Wilkes; maternal grandmother, Evelyn Cantwell; aunt, Judy Cantwell; and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Roy William Frazier. Born Jewell Kathrine Maddox on October 5, 1915, in Italy, Texas, she spent her early life growing up in the Baptist Children's Home in Waxahachie, Texas. After leaving the home on her 18th birthday, she relocated to the area where she met, fell in love, and married Roy William Frazier in 1936. In 1944, they permanently relocated to Austin, Texas to raise their family. She was a devout member of the Church of Christ, as well as a devoted mother and grandmother to her family. Kathleen D. Holland Holland Kathleen Toole Dukes Holland, PhD, LPC, has ended her long and difficult, but sometimes blessed struggle with colon cancer. The spirit of this loving wife, mother, sister, daughter, aunt, niece, cousin, friend, gifted artist, caring psychotherapist and premarital counselor was received by open arms of Mary and into heavenly dominion of God at 2:56 p.m. on January 20, 2003. Final planning of a memorial service for family and friends is pending.

Dorothy Lois Harmon Dorothy Lois Harmon, age 72, was born September 4, 1930, in Artesia, New Mexico. She passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2003, at a local Temple, Texas, Hospital. She resided in Georgetown, Texas.

She married Leon C. Harmon August 18, 1967. She was an avid painter and golfer and an active part of her husband's career. She was a member of "The Worship Place" in Georgetown, Texas. Preceded in death by her son, Kent Harmon.

She is survived by her Leon G. Harmon of Georgetown, Texas; sons, Bob Burns of Fountain Hills, Arizona and Steve Harmon of Clovis, New Mexico; daughters, Ginny Henson, a Sweetwater, Texas, Donna Childress of Belton, Texas, and Gail Harmon Patton of El Paso, Texas; -10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
