Does Kahoot show the answers? ›

Launch a Live game. Click the gearwheel icon in the bottom right corner of the screen. Enable the Show questions & answers option.

game PIN: game pins are temporary codes that identify Kahoot! game sessions. A game PIN is one of the ways to join a Kahoot! game started by another Kahoot!'er.

Single-select questions offer up to 1000 points when a player responds correctly. Multi-select questions offer up to 500 points per correct answer.

Adding more than 4 answer choices (up to 6) is available with certain plans.

Under "Game Options," make sure that "randomize order of questions" and "randomize order of answers" are both toggled on (do not randomize order of questions for “Tick Habitat Identification Walk”. Feel free to modify any other settings in "Game Options" as desired.

When creating, Kahoot gives us the option for having more than one correct answer, however, the students only have the option of selecting one choice before it moves them to the next question. Our EOG/EOC tests ask students to select more than one choice to correctly answer a question.

Both questions and answers are displayed on their mobile devices inside the Kahoot! app. Players don't need an account in order to play a kahoot, so they can remain anonymous in the game by using nicknames. Some teachers hosting games encourage students to use their real names, but this is also up to you!

Unless the host enabled player identifier, you just need to provide or randomly select (see nickname generator) a nickname to join a game.

You can search for any public kahoots, including your own, by using the magnifier icon at the bottom of the screen. Search for a topic you want to find kahoots about, or enter someone's username to find public kahoots made by them.

There are 20 questions for each quiz. Each question has a time limit. Questions 1 to 10 are set at 20 seconds, questions 11 to 20 are set at 10 seconds. Quizzes take about 15 to 20 minutes to play, including login times.

Answer Details

For each player, you can see what answer they chose, their score earned, their total score, and their time taken to answer.
